This picture is where my love for wire and beaded jewelry began. In the spring of 2018 the hubby and I visited Charleston, SC and literally stumbled upon what appeared to be a small bead shop “Beads on Cannon”. We walked inside and I was just amazed as all of the walls were filled with beads, many varieties, pearls, pendants, charms, crystals and all of that good stuff. I had never been anywhere like it.
With no intentions to purchase anything I spotted a ring that I loved. It wasn’t my size but I spoke with the lady working and the more we talked and the longer I looked around I needed to try it. She suggested the beads, tools and wires that could be used to recreate the look I wanted. We left the store unexpectedly spending a couple hundred dollars, but it was worth it!!!
That night I was so excited when we got back to our hotel I searched YouTube videos and ended up spending the entire night making the pieces you see in this picture. We also went back the next day for some more 😊 and on the way home stopped at a few craft stores as I made a few more pieces during the car ride 😊 When I got back home I was so excited to give as souvenirs to my family and friends! They all loved it 💕💕
